Spring Air

I managed to snap this shot last week when NYC was having absolutely perfect weather: slightly chilly in the mornings, but warming to a glorious sunny day. The cherry blossoms have arrived ahead of schedule and other flowering plants have followed suit, including this tree in my backyard. It's not just the plants though, this warm weather has caused the entire city to bloom. Even though the weather has gotten back to more normal March temps, people still seem lighter and more eager.

Petite

I am notorious for being hard to fit. Some people protest this fact by saying "Oh but you are so small and petite!!" That's just it. I am petite, especially in the upper body/shoulder area. Anything tailored looks ridiculous on me or is downright uncomfortable unless I shop in the petite section. Or, I guess, Korea. This camel blazer in some strange Koren brand found it's way to me. It fits like a dream and I love it already.

Glorious Fall!

Fall at last! The high temperatures here are finally regularly in the 60s and 70s, and I'm soaking up the wonderful sunshine every chance I get. I'd say I'm storing up on it for winter, but who am I kidding. The sun never stops shining in the South.
